Ethics statement for Filmplusgear

Everything expressed on this site is my personal opinion. I talk about products I use myself and products im asked to review and give my opinion about. I will always be objektive and speak my mind. As everybody else I’m biased. Of course I am. But that’s not going to hold me back speaking my mind. I feel my input helps manufacturers make better products. Filmplusgear is a revamp of the blog section on my old company website, which I started 4 years ago and continually get hits from people looking for advice. Filmplusgear started mid August 2017 some weeks before my self financed tour to IBC 2017.

I carry on about stuff I love, cameras, lenses, production techniques and software like most other people do. I always bring a camera whereever I go, my girlfriend hates it, but lives with it. I’m constantly on the lookout for new and better gear. I love my Sony gear but am also critical about Sony. I’m not holding back on negative stuff and things which I think could be improved.

Im an independant filmaker and have a small production company (Filmplus) and purchase a lot of gear. Gear is expensive, but I love it. When I have been given gear to review it I will state it in my posts.

People who know me, follow me, are in my facebook groups will know that I’m objective. But as with many other things there are also some people who has the opposite oppinion. And that’s just how it is. Im always open to critique and you are welcome to contact me if you have any questions. Contact me here.

Some of the links on my site are affiliate links.

Im a Nordic ambassador for LowePro, Joby and I test gear for Sirui.

But most important: Everything in this site is my opinion.

Best regards
Claus Andersen,
Founder & Owner of Filmplusgear
