I was at the Sony booth at IBC 2017, and suddenly this guy was standing next to me with a very cool looking timelapse rig.
His name was Enrique Pacheco and he’s a timelapse photographer and cinematographer from Spain. But he travels the whole world to shoot timelapse and 360 video. His rig can shoot up to 4K 360 video and 8K timelapses. It’s based on 4 x Sony a7RII and 4 x Samyang 8mm lenses with a 180 degrees view on each. He uses Mistika VR to stich hos 360 videos together.Very cool.
Enrique has travelled the world. To places like Australia, Pamama, Suadi Arabia, Sweden, Hong Kong, Bolivia and many more. It this video he presents his rig and talks about his workflow.
